'Steve Jobs' rises to No. 1 at Amazon.com, No. 3 at B&N; pub. date moved up

The first official biography of Steve Jobs has seen its date moved once, and with his death on Wednesday, it's been moved again. Originally scheduled for March 2012 publication, the book has seen its publication date moved to Nov. 21, 2011 and now to Oct. 24, 2011.

In addition, the book, Steve Jobs, by Walter Isaacson, has risen about 42,000 percent in terms of Amazon.com sales. It went all the way from No. 424 to No. 1. It's currently No. 3 overall at Barnes & Noble.

Additionally, if you wonder if Steve Jobs knew he was dying, apparently he did, and that is why he resigned as Apple's CEO. According to a source familiar with the matter, biographer Walter Isaacson last interviewed Jobs just prior to and just after his resignation.

Jobs told Isaacson at that time that he knew he was dying, and going to die soon. The scene between the two will appear at the end of the book.
