Apple to announce Back to School 2011 program at WWDC?

Mark this in the rumor category, but BGR is reporting that it's been tipped that one of Apple’s WWDC 2011 announcements will be regarding the Back to School 2011 program. According to the report, this year’s Back to School will continue offering students who purchase a new Mac a free iPod touch (or $229 towards the purchase of any other iPod).

Another, perhaps more exciting program might (with a Capital M) be in the works. It's possible Apple might give students buying a new Mac a $200 discount off an iPad 2 instead.

WWDC kicks off on June 6 and runs through June 10 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.
