To "View" U.K. Footpaths, Google Builds a Street View Trike

Question: if this trike shows up where it's not wanted, will U.K. residents chase it off, as they did a Google Street View car? Probably not, because Google is taking a vote on where to use the Trike.

Google describes the trike as:
a mechanical masterpiece comprising 3 bicycle wheels, a mounted Street View camera and a very athletic cyclist in customised Google apparel.
Sorry, I just don't see that cyclist above as "very athletic." At any rate, Google is taking nominations for places the Trike should visit. There are 5 categories for people to submit their ideas under:
  1. Castles
  2. Coastal paths
  3. Natural Wonders
  4. Historic Buildings & Monuments
  5. (Sports) Stadiums.
You can make suggestions for a limited time (here), after which Google will work with VisitBritain to choose the most "original" ideas from each category. The public will then be able to cast their final votes and choose the top 3 locations Google will try to add to Street View.

Google adds that for private locations, it will work with the organizations involved to get permission to "map" the areas (obviously proactively addressing concerns of any privacy advocates).
