Dell's Inspiron Mini 9 debuted in September, with a pretty low price. You can configure it with Ubuntu Linux or for about $50 more per configuration you can get Windows XP. And now you can also outfit it with a new 32 GB SSD for a mere $100 extra.Of course, there's always a catch, and the catch is this option doesn't appear on any of the configurations that include Windows XP. You can order it here, however.
The 32 GB SSD option was already available in Japan, so it's nice to see the U.S. given the option, even if it was after the fact.
There doesn't seem to be a way to get technical specs on the drive, however, and it's doubtful they are speed demons.

I've seen several posts about Dell adding 32GB SSD. However, it is only available with Ubuntu, not XP. Sales Rep said it was because Ubuntu already included the driver. Even the link you provided now only offers Ubuntu but it does have the 32GB option.
