In October of last year, Lenovo hired Kutcher as one of its newest product engineers to develop and promote its Yoga Tablet line, along with other mobile devices. At the time, Kutcher said:
This partnership with Lenovo brings together my love of technology and design that makes your life better. I can’t wait to dig in and help Lenovo develop future mobile computing products. While one might expect this to be the typical partnership between a celebrity and a tech company -- such as the now-ended one between Alicia Keys and BlackBerry -- it's not.
Roman was quite clear on the matter: Kutcher is, in fact, heavily involved.
I know on one level, it sounds corny, but it is real. He not only sees himself as an engineer, but he is an engineer. If he sees a problem, he wants to solve it.Kutcher wasn't always an actor. He studied biochemical engineering at the University of Iowa before leaving the school to pursue a career in modeling.
He is also co-founder of the venture capital group A-Grade Investments. Numerous startups have drawn his interest; he has invested in quite a few, including Airbnb, Foursquare, and Uber.
He's also reportedly recently engaged to actress Mila Kunis, but that is a whole 'nother story.
