She's promoting products from the same company as in 2012: iHip. In 2012, Snooki partnered with iHip to promote a new set of headphones. "Her 2013 products," so to speak, constitute a new line of audio gear dubbed the "Snooki Couture by Nicole Polizzi" collection.
This year, her collection includes more than just headphones and earbuds. Also included are a portable speaker and even iPhone and iPad covers.
I’m so excited to have headphones with style! I love listening to my music and being accessorized. iHip worked with me on incorporating my signature style with the best sound quality and a comfortable fit.In reality (no pun intended), it's likely the case that Polizzi had little to do with the technical development of these products. As with many celebrities, her contribution is probably limited to promoting the product -- although that is not always the case.
However, style is a large part of the new products, and Snooki may have contributed to that. According to iHip, the “attitude” and “personality” of Snooki has been embedded in the products. That means consumers can expect sequins, rhinestones, feathers and animal prints. Some of the products will even be bundled with hair accessories.
Snooki will take the stage on Wednesday, Jan. 9 to detail the new line. iHip has already confirmed that products will range from $25 to $60 and will be available in thousands of retail stores this year.
CES runs from Jan. 8 to Jan. 11 in Las Vegas.
