Racy Anna Kendrick tweet re: Ryan Gosling: It's just a word

Some people overshare on Twitter, although sometimes the oversharing is a mistake, a tweet meant to be a direct message. Anna Kendrick, however, meant to share this tweet.

On Monday, Jan. 14, Kendrick tweeted:
Ugh - NEVER going to a Ryan Gosling movie in a theater again. Apparently masturbating in the back row is still considered "inappropriate"
Kendrick apparently doesn't remember Pee Wee Herman, although he -- nee Paul Reubens -- was in a different type of theater altogether.

It was her most recent tweet, at the time of this writing, and it's gathered a fair amount of attention, as well. It's been retweeted over 24,000 times, and has been favorited more then 20,000 times.

That a tweet has gathered so much attention is a story unto itself. Obviously it was a non-serious, tongue-in-cheek tweet (wasn't it, Anna?). If it was meant to be non-tongue-in-cheek, she would have DMed him.

As Kelsea Stahler of Hollywood.com said,
“Masturbate” is just a word, and it’s a word that belongs to all of us. If you don’t want to talk about it, that’s your prerogative, but it’s not a bad or dirty word. It just is.

Can we stop pretending it’s shocking that a woman might be inspired by a handsome movie star, especially if that handsome movie star is someone as universally lusted after as Gosling?
Indeed, Kendrick has a habit of snarky tweets, including such as:

1) "I'll have whatever just gave that woman a screaming orgasm in the middle of this deli" #AwfulFirstDraftDialogue

2) Whenever I see an adorable service dog and I know I can't pet it, the greatest internal struggle of my life begins anew

3) When I can feel the bass from another car I feel like I'm in Jurassic Park. I like to imagine a huge douchebag driving with tiny T-Rex arms.

4) Thought for the day: If I were going to take a naked picture of myself, I would at least clean my room first.

Truly, all we need is a tweet from Ryan Gosling about masturbating to Anna Kendrick in "Pitch Perfect" and the Internet would go nuts.
