The Home Depot's Black Friday 2012 ad constructed on the Web

Hot on the heels of the Lowe's Black Friday 2012 ad leak on Sunday, Home Depot's ad was posted to the Web.

Ironically, according to Wikipedia, Home Depot's ad leak trailed Lowe's, while Lowe's trails Home Depot as the second-largest hardware chain in the United States. Menards is the third largest hardware chain.

Much as with its rival Lowe's, Home Depot will open its doors on Black Friday at 5:00 a.m. Also like Lowe's, Home Depot is featuring Christmas trees, holiday decorations, tools, camping gear, home improvement items such as faucets.

Home Depot will also showcase major appliance such as refrigerators and ranges, along with small appliances like toaster ovens and vacuum cleaners.

The Home Depot was founded in 1978 by Bernie Marcus, Arthur Blank, Ron Brill, and Pat Farrah. The Home Depot's proposition was to build home-improvement warehouses, larger than any of their competitors' facilities.
