The problem is, the tweet was sent from an iPad. Oops. The tweet said:
Gotta say love that SURFACE! Have bought 12 already for Christmas gifts. #FavoriteThingsThe fact that it was sent from an iPad went unnoticed for a while -- the tweet was sent Sunday -- because web-based Twitter no longer shows the information of which client sent the tweet. However, users of Tweetbot, which which still shows that info, noticed the information (as shown above).
Don't blame Oprah, though. There's no doubt in our mind that Oprah herself didn't send the Tweet. The tweet was likely sent by an intern. In addition, other tweets sent by iPad have been noticed, as well. So it's not isolated to one tweet.
Somehow we suspect that the intern or interns will learn to use only Twitter on the Web, instead.
Notably, there isn't a Surface-compatible (meaning Windows RT) Twitter client yet, so the intern isn't totally to blame.
