Menards Black Friday 2012 ad leaks to the Web, shows off far more than home improvement

The latest Black Friday ad to leak to the Internet arrived on Saturday. Menards' Black Friday 2012 ad has arrived.

The ad is -- somewhat traditionally -- emblazoned with the headline "After Thanksgiving Sale." That's right, instead of calling it a Black Friday sale, Menards is calling it an after-Thanksgiving sale.

That said, the biggest part of the sale takes place early on Friday, which is the "new" tradition. The Menards sale begins at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, with five hours of special savings, running through 11 a.m.

Menards is a chain of home improvement stores in the Midwestern United States. It is a privately-held company headquartered in Eau Claire, Wis. The company has approximately 270 stores in 14 states: Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, and Kentucky.

Although known as a home improvement store, shoppers can expect more than just tools, shingles, paint, and more. The 48-page ad sports electronics, toys, apparel, appliances, and -- yes -- home improvement items such as carpeting, doors, ceiling fans, and more.

Due to its size and embedding limitations, the ad is available here in Scribd form, in an embedded widget and in a larger size than could be displayed on site.
