MacMall opens its 60-hour Black Friday sale; discounts are higher than direct from Apple

MacMall, one of the larger third-party Apple and Mac resellers, has begun its 60 hour Black Friday 2012 sale. As Apple's Black Friday discounts are typically "modest," many buyers look to sites like MacMall for the best Apple deals.

The 60 hour sale runs from 12:00 noon PST on Wednesday through 12:59 p.m. on Black Friday (evening), Nov. 23.

Wikipedia describes MacMall in the following way:
They [MacMall] buy Apple products in bulk, which allows them to sell them at a volume discount, and are one of the only companies authorized by Apple Inc. to do so. They also sell accessories for other Apple products, like iPods and iPhones. MacMall is a wholly owned subsidiary of PC Mall, which is a NASDAQ traded company.
