While once thought of as "the toy store of all toy stores," it's obvious that Toys R Us has much competition from rivals such as Walmart and Target.
The 2012 Toys R Us Black Friday ad consists of 32 pages of deals. Of those, half of them -- meaning 16 pages -- consist of doorbusters with most products at a 50 - 60 percent discount. The other pages include two-day sale items.
Toys R Us is another store that's invading both "Turkey Time" and NFL football time. The sale begins at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving with doorbusters. If you would rather shop online, the store is also advertising free shipping for online sales.
Toys R Us was founded in 1948. It is a dedicated toy and juvenile-products retailer headquartered in Wayne, New Jersey.
It operates over 875 Toys R Us and Babies R Us stores in the U.S., along with more than 625 international stores and over 140 licensed stores in 35 countries and jurisdictions.
The company also exclusively operates the FAO Schwarz brand and its flagship location in New York City, along with a number of websites including Toysrus.com, Babiesrus.com, eToys.com and FAO.com.
Considering its length, we've uploaded the ad scans to Scribd. The ad is available here in a larger size than can be seen on-site.
