Dell opens its '12 Days of Deals' promotion, with 26 shopping days left

Dell's Member Purchase Program (MPP) has announced its "12 Days of Deals" sale. This is, of course, despite the fact that there are still 26 days left in the holiday shopping season.

As we've noted before, it's not necessary to actually be a member of a company or organization in order to use the MPP. If a user clicks through the link labeled "Shop Now," he'll be asked for his Member ID. However, if you don't have an ID, you can simply choose an appropriate category from the six on the right side of the page (Employee, Students, Military and Veteran Community, Association and Credit Union Members, Healthcare and Life Sciences, and Government).

During the Dell MPP "12 Days of Deals," offers will change every 24 hours. Savings will be up to 34 percent. On Thursday, the first day of the promotion, customers could buy the XPS 13 Ultrabook for $170 off.

Included in the deals are free shipping, and easy returns (within 30 days, including return shipping and a waived restocking fee).

Don't forget, as well, the Dell Advantage Loyalty Program. You can join for free, and get the following perks:

1. Get 5 percent back with a Dell Promo eGift card* (excludes taxes and shipping) every time you purchase with your Advantage Membership.

2. Enjoy free 2nd business day shipping on all purchases.

3. Enjoy exclusive monthly emails with offers on PCs, electronics and accessories.

4. Unlock exclusive offers from Dell partners such as Blockbuster and Rhapsody.

Since this is a 12 day sale, echoing, quite obviously, the "12 Days of Christmas," there will be another two weeks following the promotion. Are you willing to gamble on better deals then?
