Britney Spears adds talents to Hasbro's 'Twister Dance' all-digital game

No more Twister mat, at least if you opt to buy the latest iteration of the Hasbro game. Twister Dance is a completely digital setup that forgoes the floor map, substituting a sphere-shaped console (shown), LEDs and a cable to connect your favorite music player (which naturally, for most people, translates to an iDevice of some sort).

Twister Dance retails for $34.99 (sorry, customers, it doesn't look like there's a discount there).  The game is current No. 4 on the Floor Game bestsellers list, but it's so new that, as of Sunday morning, it still had no reviews.

Here's how the product is described:

"Rock the spots to today's hottest music with the Twister Dance Game! Learn dances by following the Twister spots to songs like 'Till the World Ends' by Britney Spears or 'Whip My Hair' by Willow. Or dance to your own music by connecting the game to any MP3 player (sold separately)! Practice by yourself or show off your moves with a friend. Rock it out with Twister Dance!"

Twister Dance comes with five songs, including a "Till the World Ends" Twister remix from Britney Spears. A full music video of the remix premiered Sept. 9 at midnight, and is embedded. The video features Spears, back-up dancers and - yes - Twister Dance.

In a statement, Spears said, "I think kids will love rocking the spots and dancing to the music as much as my boys and I do -- it’s a lot of fun.”
