Scorsese to Siri: 'You're going places'

Academy Award-winning director Martin Scorsese is the latest celebrity to fawn over the iPhone 4S Siri feature in a TV commercial. Others have included Samuel L. Jackson, Zooey Deschanel, and John Malkovich.

In the video (embedded), which premiered on Monday, Scorsese is shown in the back of a taxi cab, using Apple's voice assistant feature to check his calendar, reschedule appointments, locate friends, and check local traffic.

The ad concludes with as Scorsese tells Siri "I like ya, Siri; you're going places."

On the other hand, while Scorsese, who won the Oscar for "The Departed" (2006), seems to like Siri, not everyone else does. At least two lawsuits have been filed over the feature, and Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster recently gave the feature a grade of "D."
