Viddy is free, but the company sells production packs, in-app, that allows users to add visual effects, music, transitions and more from a specific artist. Ones already added to the app include T-Pain, Linkin Park, and Mindless Behavior.
Users can shoot, customize, and share 15-second (the limit of the app) video clips directly from their mobile devices. Sharing is done to (where else) social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
Ironically, Viddy was banned from the App Store for a short while over sexually charged videos uploaded by Viddy's users. However, Viddy has tools in place to filter adult materials and users can flag videos, and the app was returned to the App Store very quickly.
