WalMart's Black Friday 2010 ad scan leaks to the Web - finally

It has finally hit the Web, the crown jewel of Black Friday leaks, that is. Although CNN highlighted a number of details about WalMart's Black Friday ad, showing just how mainstream these leaks have become, it didn't post a scan of WalMart's Black Friday 2010 deals. That omission has been remedied.

Realistically, CNN was on the nose with their details. They did, as they said, actually see a scanned WalMart Black Friday circular, and based on the comments they received from WalMart in the story, they probably had WalMart help (with the restriction that they would not post the ad).

Some have wondered if Black Friday ad leaks such as these are actually promoted by the retailers. That's hard to say, but at least retailer (JC Penney) forced its ad off the web once it had leaked, earlier this holiday shopping season.

In terms of the Black Friday 2010 Deals at WalMart, just as CNN said, stores will open at 12 midnight on Black Friday, with deals centered on clothing, toys, and housewares starting. At 5:00 AM, the real doorbuster deals go live. As always, those deals will be very limited in number.

As many retailers seem to be doing this year, laptops are front and center among WalMart's Black Friday 2010 Deals. However, you shouldn't expect the "magical" iPad to see any deals. Among the laptop deals advertised as doorbusters:

As expected, WalMart's Black Friday Deals are heavy on the electronics, with the following examples, again doorbusters, so again in very limited quantity:
