Mobile editing is finally added to Google Docs

Google has announced that mobile editing has come to Google Docs, at least for Android devices running Android 2.2 (Froyo) and iDevices running 3.x and above. The changes to docs.google.com will be rolling out over the next few days, so if you don't see it, be patient.

Also, it will be English-language only at the start; Google said in their blog post that other languages will be arriving soon.

Previously, Google added mobile editing for Google Docs' spreadsheets; this extends that functionality.

Edits show up in "near" realtime across platforms. Additionally, on Android you can insert text using voice recognition.
