In fact, it would be hard to believe the device would be dubbed the "Nexus Two;" after all that was an HTC device and we doubt HTC would be that generous. However, it is possible it might be another attempt by Google for a "Google phone."
Of course, Google already said its Nexus One experiment, with a globally unlocked phone that was exclusively sold via the Web was a failure, and terminated it. The URL previously used for the Nexus One now leads to a gallery of released Android devices.
It could, instead, be less aggressive: simply an Android phone with a pure Android experience, meaning no extras like TouchWiz, Sense, or Blur. Or it could be the Continuum, which has been leaked but not officially announced by Samsung or Verizon, a dual-screen Android phone.
The Continuum being announced on Nov. 8 would, in fact, be rather underwhelming since we are already aware of that device via leaks. Nov. 8 can't come fast enough.
