In the case of Mary Bale, the so-called "Cat Bin Lady," she was tracked down by the Internet hacker group 4Chan. Reportedly, this same group is trying to find out the details on this puppy-throwing woman. If anyone can find her, they can.
There is a Facebook group devoted to Find the girl throwing puppies in the river!!!!! Right now that group has nearly 4,000 members.
One of the posts on the wall of the group says that there's a theory that the video may be old. That same person, Marla Stormwolf-Patty, said that the video might be from Croatia, and that it might be old. Even if it's old, the Web wants to get their hands on the person (really persons, as someone's taping) involved.
There's some possible information here. As Michael Vick can readily attest, one should not get on the wrong side of animals lovers (or decent human beings; we doubt the humanity of these persons).
Both LiveLeak, currently hosting the video, and the Facebook group emphasize that no vigilante action should be taken. Instead, they want the girl / woman found and reported to the authorities.
The Facebook group says, "Little is said in the video.......it is mostly the sound of puppies screaming........ Please dont take matters into a vigilante way because we will suffer.........not her. We need to find her and report her.........."
The wrath of the Internet is mighty, indeed.

You took what I said out of context Im afraid. I was asked where the video may have been from and I replied, that it may have been old and it may have been in countries surrounding the given area already discussed like Croatia. In addition, my group helped find evidence to submit to authorities involving find the girl who threw the puppies in the river.
Also, I am the Founder for STOPcrush.org, and even though several of the animal crush videos are years old, that has never stopped me from forming a group to get crush videos outlawed in the States, nor has it stopped me from trying to bring to justice those people involved in crush videos.
So before you judge me, talk to me.

I have been a long time supporter of STOPcrush.org and I saw your blog earlier, I cam e here to see if the Founder of STOPcrush had got my email with your link in it, and she did. What you're saying in thsi blog about her is wrong. You purposely took what she said out of context. She was asked where the vid of the girl throwing puppies in the water was from and she said it may have been in places already mentioned like Croatia,Bosnia ,Russia. She also said that the video may be old therefore it may make it HARDER for us to catch her. You are implying that she doesnt care about the video cause you said she said it was old, but that is not what she said at all and I hope the STOPcrush lawyers sue you. What you posted was libel and slander. I know that what she says makes good copy and her name is popular cause she really cares for animals and kids and stuff, but you used her name to get hits to your blog and that means you dont care who YOU hurt.
