Apple Blanches As Woz Says He Loves The Nexus One

Co-founder of Apple Steve Wozniak surely cut Apple CEO Steve Jobs to the quick last week, when he admitted on the set of NBC Class Action, an education show, that he loves the HTC Nexus One, AKA the Google Phone. Don't worry, too much, iPhone fans: he still carries two of them.

After all, he went so far as to cut in line to get his iPhone (but then, who was going to tell the co-founder of Apple, developer of the device, to get back to the end of the line?).

No, the Woz is just a gadget freak. Like some people we know, he wants the latest and greatest gadget. In fact, he admitted that not only does he have two iPhones and a Nexus One, he also has a Motorola Droid and sometimes will be found with a BlackBerry.

It's unclear why Steve Wozniak has two iPhones; perhaps he keeps one in Edge mode so he doesn't drop calls as often.

One thing for sure: Wozniak is open-minded. When steering someone to a computer or phone, he doesn't blindly point to the Apple logo:
"I don't like treating it like a religion. I don't like telling people that they're bad or wrong [for picking a particular device]. The right computer for you, based upon your family income and your type of work, might be a PC and not a Macintosh. I'd rather be a true salesman who cares about the customer -- though I try to bend them a bit of the way to the advantages of iPhones and Macintosh."
