Mac clone maker PearC, which I wrote about earlier, has launched a new line, the Stylence line.Obviously, PearC isn't deterred by the lawsuit still ongoing against fellow Mac clone maker Psystar. Unlike Psystar, which is located in the U.S., PearC is in Germany, and claims immunity due to German law.
Their website describes the new line thusly:
The stylence line is perfect for users, who put emphasize on good looking cases and high performace (sic) for a fair price. Mac OS X Leopard is preinstalled.The new clones” come in two configurations ranging in price from 729 euros ($989) to 929,00 euros ($1,260). For an additional 49.99 euros $68) you can get Apple’s Mac Box Set which includes Mac OS X Leopard, iLife ‘09 and iWork ‘09.
Until and unless a lawsuit comes calling, at least.
