Third Media Source Confirms New 10" Screen Apple Product

First Digitimes, then Dow Jones Newswire, and now Reuters. All have reported that Apple will take third-quarter delivery of touchscreens from Wintek. The question is: netbook or tablet PC?

While reports seemed to point to a netbook, it's also true that in last year's Fiscal Q4 Earnings Conference Call, CEO Steve Jobs roundly dissed netbooks. And in these reports, there's been no confirmation that what we will be seeing this fall will be a netbook.

In fact, AppleInsider seems to think it will be a tablet PC, the much-anticipated Newton/Web tablet, which the site notes has been under development for three years and is still kicking around.

It does appear that Quanta Computer will be involved, at least according to the DigiTimes report. So now not only are we expecting a new iPhone in June, we're expecting something with a 10" screen in Q3. The waiting is interminable, isn't it?
