On Thursday Google News announced the addition of quote searches. Search for a person, and if they have a recent quote, it will be displayed above the search results (see above for Barack Obama).
Click on the person's hyperlinked name, and you'll go to a page devoted to quotes from that person. You can then search within those quotes.Pretty snazzy, and for those of us who may be searching for quotes to use in articles, or particularly since it's election season, searching for the latest gaffe to rake candidates over the coals for, this is a boon.
